Who We Are
Arka Foundation is a Serbian NGO that aims to empower youth to become active citizens who address burning issues in their surroundings and contribute to creating safe and inclusive communities. We focus on decentralization of opportunities for young people because we believe the local impact is the strongest and most sustainable. Our mission is to promote the UN Agenda 2030 through specific youth-led activities focused on active participation, structured dialogue, social inclusion, gender equality and fighting discrimination. Moreover, we believe that through such engagement, young people will directly take part in creating democratic societies by reinforcing solidarity, unitedness and equality among their peers.
